Job summary

Room at the Top Recruitment is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer for a global client in the UK. You will design, develop, and optimize production-ready firmware for low-power STM32-based IoT devices, with GNSS/LoRa integration and RTOS. This is a hybrid, 2-days onsite role with a 2-year contract.

Work across cross-functional teams in the UK, Israel, and California, contributing to a connected devices portfolio. Strong C/C++ experience and hands-on STM32 expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of embedded software experience using C/C++.
• Strong STM32 experience and embedded debugging.
• Proven delivery of low-power firmware for battery-operated devices.
• Experience with GNSS, LoRa or LoRaWAN and embedded peripherals plus an RTOS.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready firmware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware for low-power IoT devices.
• Integrate GNSS, LoRa/LoRaWAN and hardware peripherals.
• Develop within an RTOS environment.
• Deliver production-ready, maintainable firmware in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
