Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools and colleges throughout Wiltshire during mock examinations and formal examination periods.

Assignments may range from individual sessions to regular work across several weeks. You can choose locations and sessions that suit you, with full instructions provided by each school.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and candidate desks.
• Check seating plans and examination materials.
• Invite candidates into the room and explain procedures.
• Distribute and collect examination papers.
• Supervise candidates throughout the examination.
• Ensure examination regulations are followed.
• Report concerns or irregularities to the Exams Officer.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of examination materials.
• Support candidates appropriately without disrupting examination conditions.

TeacherActive is recruiting Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools and colleges throughout Wiltshire during mock examinations and formal examination periods.

Assignments may range from individual examination sessions to regular work across several weeks. You can tell us which locations and sessions work for you, and we will aim to offer suitable local opportunities.

Previous experience is helpful but not essential. Full instructions will be provided by the school before each examination session.

The role will involve

• Preparing examination rooms and candidate desks
• Checking seating plans and examination materials
• Inviting candidates into the room and explaining procedures
• Distributing and collecting examination papers
• Supervising candidates throughout the examination
• Ensuring examination regulations are followed
• Reporting concerns or irregularities to the Exams Officer
• Maintaining confidentiality and the security of examination materials
• Supporting candidates appropriately without disrupting examination conditions

The successful applicant will
