Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to support Swindon schools during mock exams, internal assessments and formal examination periods.

No teaching qualification is required, and invigilation experience is not essential. You will follow strict procedures and maintain a calm, professional environment for all candidates.

• Setting up examination rooms before candidates arrive.

• Recording and reporting any incidents or irregularities.
• Collecting and securely organising completed papers.
• Supporting the Exams Officer and wider examination team.

South West/ temporary / £14.25 - 15.00 per hour dependent upon skills & experience

TeacherActive is building a team of reliable Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges across Swindon during mock examinations, internal assessments and formal examination periods.

You do not need to be a qualified teacher, and previous invigilation experience is not essential. Schools need calm, professional people who can follow instructions, pay close attention and ensure every candidate receives a fair examination experience.

Your responsibilities will include

• Setting up examination rooms before candidates arrive
• Checking seating plans and candidate information
• Distributing examination papers and equipment
• Supervising candidates under formal examination conditions
• Ensuring examination-board regulations are followed
• Recording and reporting any incidents or irregularities
• Collecting and securely organising completed papers
• Supporting the Exams Officer and wider examination team
