Job summary

Legal & General, a leading UK financial services group, is seeking a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join the Investment Reporting Team within Institutional Retirement. The Senior Actuarial Analyst will manage key IRT processes, develop modelling capabilities and present findings to the business, while fostering strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Nearly or newly qualified actuary with IFoA or equivalent.
• Experience in IFRS, Solvency II and/or assets is a plus.
• Strong modelling knowledge, ideally using R.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing your workstream to meet deadlines and ensure smooth processes.
• Developing deep expertise and supporting investment reporting modelling.
• Proposing innovative solutions to challenges affecting upstream/downstream teams.
• Leading development, implementation and maintenance of reporting systems and controls.
• Communicating monthly results analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
• Applying risk and control mindset to identify and resolve control weaknesses.
