Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a Data Engineer to shape data, analytics and reporting for investment oversight, research and portfolio construction. You will collaborate with Coverage Analysts and Strategy professionals to translate business needs into robust data solutions and actionable dashboards.

You will drive data quality, automate workflows, and contribute to model governance while exploring AI/ML enhancements and new technologies across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or related quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, R and SQL, with experience using database platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Coverage Analysts, Investment Strategy & Research to translate analytical needs into data solutions, models and reporting.
• Participate in research discussions and planning, aligning data capabilities with investment oversight priorities.
• Source, validate and maintain investment data across platforms, ensuring quality and reliable feeds for teams.
