Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments seeks a technology-enabled finance professional to transform Controllership through automation, data analytics, and better reporting. You will build Python-based tools, dashboards, and governance, partnering with Finance, Risk, and Data teams to drive continuous improvement.

The role isUK-based with a hybrid pattern: four days in-office and one day remote, supporting global finance operations and strategic finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience coding in Python.
• Experience developing dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working in a Finance function.
• Inquisitive and self-starting with a drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Controllership and Finance functions of the future and drive transformation.
• Identify, design, and implement automation across Controllership.
• Develop Python-based data collection, reconciliation, reporting, validation, and control solutions.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to improve management insight.
• Evaluate technologies (Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, AI) and promote governance and best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Data teams to deliver scalable reporting.
