Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a relief Investigator to conduct fair, thorough investigations into disciplinary and other complex employment matters. The role involves working independently, writing reports and presenting findings, while liaising with managers, HR and trade union representatives.

Hybrid working applies, and the council cannot offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for the post. The Investigations team provides a supportive environment with flexible working arrangements

This relief Investigator post sits in the Investigations team at Lincolnshire County Council. Hours are relief and set per investigation, so the workload varies with demand. The role covers disciplinary, grievance and other complex employment matters, with the postholder working independently, writing reports and presenting findings while liaising with managers, HR and trade union representatives.
