Job summary

UK Staffing Group Limited is recruiting an Inventory Assistant for an 8-week temporary contract in Manchester. The role requires hands-on experience in stock control, warehousing or inventory management, plus familiarity with ERP/inventory systems and basic Excel skills.

The position is full-time and immediate start. Responsibilities include receiving and storing deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, picking and packing stock, monitoring levels, performing stock counts, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, warehousing, or inventory management.
• Experience using an ERP/inventory system and basic/intermediate Excel skills.
• Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records.
• Picking and packing stock for distribution.
• Monitoring stock levels and supporting replenishment.
• Completing stock counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Updating receipts, transfers and stock movements on an ERP/inventory system.
• Ensuring correct stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
• Keeping storage areas organised and compliant.
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and transport providers.
