Job summary

Shell UK Mobility & Convenience operates a large company-owned retail network, focusing on inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment. The role leads the optimisation of forecasting and replenishment using RELEX to ensure product availability while balancing sales growth, waste and working capital.

The role requires strong data-driven planning, governance and cross-functional collaboration to improve customer experience and profitability across the Shell UK convenience retail network.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, replenishment, inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret data and translate insight into action.
• Experience with forecasting/replenishment systems; RELEX experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor RELEX forecasts, replenishment recommendations and exception alerts across the network.
• Take timely action on demand, supply and inventory exceptions to maximise business value.
• Review and optimise replenishment parameters (lead times, minimum orders, order frequency, safety stock).
• Analyse demand patterns, seasonality, promotions, and range changes to improve forecast quality.
• Collaborate with Category Management to support launches, delists and promotions with robust stock planning.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks and governance for RELEX forecasting and replenishment.
• Provide clear performance insight on availability, forecast accuracy, service level, stock cover, waste and exception volumes.
