Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Inventory Planner to own forecasting and replenishment across a broad SKU range. The role supports stock availability across National and Regional Distribution Centre networks and interfaces with multiple supplier accounts.

You will analyse demand patterns, seasonal trends, and promotions to optimise inventory, monitor supplier performance, and drive improvements with the forecasting and ERP systems (Slimstock, Kerridge/MAM).

Qualifications

• Forecasting and replenishment of a large range of SKUs across multiple supplier accounts.
• Understand fluctuations in demand as well as seasonal patterns and promotions to maintain stock.
• Maximise availability to customers while optimising inventory across RDC network.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses to manage targets and upcoming inventory projects.
• Monitor supplier performance and work with stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with forecasting and inventory management systems (Slimstock) and ERP (Kerridge/MAM).
• Work with other departments to ensure appropriate purchasing and stocking strategies.
• Track lifecycle of PO from placement to delivery and keep due dates up to date.
