Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join the UK operations, overseeing stock control, dispatch, and safety across the site. The role requires strong leadership, precise stock management, and the ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers and transport teams.

You will ensure efficient use of space and equipment, maintain accurate inventories, and drive continuous improvements in processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Coordinate receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
  • Use space and handling equipment efficiently to meet targets.
  • Understand and implement company policies and vision within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate the use of systems where necessary.
  • Respond to customer communications by email and telephone.
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and inventories accurate.
  • Plan future capacity requirements and recruit/train staff as needed.
  • Motivate and manage teamwork to meet productivity targets.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Oversee health & safety, hygiene and security standards.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team.

You’ll also be responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock.

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
  • Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
  • Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
  • Coordinate the use of systems where necessary
  • Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
  • Plan future capacity requirements
  • Organise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
  • Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Brief team leaders on a daily basis
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment,
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment
Essential Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse
