Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking an Inventory Section Manager for our Blyth site to lead stock control and a fast-paced team. You will ensure accuracy, drive improvements, and manage daily stock activities within a 09:00-17:00 shift pattern.

The role requires proven first-line management in warehousing, strong stock management knowledge, and the ability to motivate and develop staff in a collaborative environment. 33,000–35,000 GBP per year, 23 days leave, and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a first-line manager in a fast-paced warehouse with a stock focus.
• Strong knowledge of stock management processes and WMS systems.
• Adaptable and able to lead by example in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock and operational activities to meet customer contractual obligations and drive improvements.
• Plan and support stock counts and audits to maintain inventory integrity.
• Communicate with the Inventory Manager daily to implement actions for efficiency, resolve discrepancies, and manage customer issues.
• Lead the team with performance and development focus, including coaching and mentoring.
