Job summary

GXO is seeking an Inventory Team Leader at our busy Wellingborough site to lead a team of Inventory Clerks, ensuring accurate stock control and adherence to warehouse processes.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in inventory control, DLX/Red Prairie WMS, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Shift pattern is five out of seven, 06:00–14:00, and we offer a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Strong inventory control experience and accuracy focus.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Excellent communication and on-site engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and review resource to meet SLA expectations.
• Ensure tasks like cycle counts, SKU updates, stock checks are completed accurately.
• Conduct briefs, reviews, HR processes and H&S escalations per company standards.
• Lead department meetings and provide clear handovers.
