Job summary

Nefab is seeking an Inventory Lead for our Fairburn warehouse on the 4th shift (Fri-Sun, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM). You will lead cycle counts, audits, and inventory control, guiding the team and ensuring accurate material movement using RF scanners and WMS/SAP/SCALE.

You will partner with production, planning, and operations to maintain safe, organized processes and audit-ready records, driving continuous improvement in inventory flow within a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or a related environment.
• Experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, spreadsheets, and inventory tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory activities, including cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory counts.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to inventory and warehouse team members.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, planning, shipping, receiving, and other relevant teams to ensure inventory accuracy and support operational needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely transaction processing within inventory systems.
• Support receiving, stocking, material movement, and shipping activities as needed.
• Utilize RF scanners, WMS, SAP, SCALE, and other inventory management tools to record and track inventory transactions.
• Train and onboard employees on inventory procedures, transaction accuracy, and inventory control best practices.
• Communicate inventory issues, operational risks, and process improvements to leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, material flow, and warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and audit-ready work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
