Job summary

Barfoots is seeking a Lead Operative to join our busy Goods In Team at the Sefter Site. You will lead a small team, ensure safe, timely warehousing tasks, and support the Team Leader with project work and audits.

A current Counter Balance forklift licence and experience in a Fresh Produce or FMCG environment are required. Shift is 6pm–6am, four nights on, four nights off, with responsibility for loading/unloading and accurate material handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment is essential.
• Counter Balance forklift licence held and up to date.
• Competent in working to deadlines and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to complete tasks on time.
• Safely transfer and locate finished products to dispatch.
• Safely transfer and locate raw materials.
• Be trained across warehousing duties on both sites.
• Adhere to trained SOPs and health & safety standards.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with zero errors.
• Operate with clean-as-you-go principles.
• Drive health and safety standards in all areas.
• Report hazards and accidents promptly; support Barfoots values.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
