Job summary

Tindall Engineering Ltd in Oldham is seeking a Store Person to maintain and organize stores, manage stock levels, and support daily production. The role requires responsibility for Goods-In and Goods-Out, FIFO inventory practices, and a mix of manual labour with IT-based admin duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in engineering stock control is beneficial but not essential.
• Must be flexible, with a can-do attitude and good communication skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to read basic component drawings is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organise stores and all physical stocks.
• Provide effective stock management to support day-to-day operations.
• Monitor bench stock levels to ensure continuous production.
• Maintain Goods-In and Goods-Out procedures.
• Apply FIFO principles for inventory management.
• Perform a mix of manual labour and IT-based administrative duties.
• Work on a single shift: Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30; Fri 08:00-15:30.
