Job summary

Quest Technical Ltd is seeking a meticulous Goods-In Co-ordinator to join its Lancashire-based manufacturing team. The role focuses on accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of inbound materials, ensuring smooth handover into production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in goods-in/stock control.
• Background in engineering/manufacturing recommended.
• Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
• Experience with material certification.
• Experience with CFSI.
• Forklift truck experience.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures or vernier calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection on arrival.
• Review and manage accompanying documentation for incoming goods.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels across departments.
• Support production flow by timely material movements.

We are working with a well-established organisation who have been trading for over 30 years and they specialise end-to-end service covers everything from one-off bespoke tools to life saving medical machinery. We are now looking for an experienced Goods-In Co-ordinator to join this fast moving company in Lancashire.

Key skills required of the Goods-In Co-ordinator:

• Must have at least 3 years hands on working experience goods-in/stock control environment
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing background is required
• Experience with inventory management systems and processes
• Experience with material certification.
• Experience & keen eye for CFSI.
• Forklift truck experience.
• Ability to use manual measuring equipment such as a tape measure, or vernier calliper.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping
