Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Redditch is seeking a Stock Planner to own forecasting, stock replenishment and inventory optimisation, ensuring products are available when customers need them. You will work in a collaborative team and take ownership of data-driven planning processes.

The successful candidate will have experience in stock planning, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, while collaborating with Sales, Operations and Warehouse teams to optimise working capital and service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock planning, demand planning, replenishment, supply chain or a similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Experience using ERP, MRP or inventory planning systems.
• Commercially aware with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and keen to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, trends and seasonal patterns.
• Manage stock levels to balance customer demand, availability and working capital requirements.
• Plan and place replenishment orders, considering lead times and stock targets.
• Monitor key stock and supply chain KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Investigate stock shortages, overstocks and supply disruptions, providing practical solutions.
• Liaise with suppliers to track orders, manage lead times and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and product data within ERP and planning systems.
• Work closely with internal departments including Sales, Operations, Product and Warehouse teams.
