Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in St Athan is seeking an Inventory First Line Manager to lead a stock‑control team, drive accuracy and ensure safe, compliant warehouse operations.

You will coach a team of Inventory Clerks, investigate discrepancies, monitor stock KPIs, and use WMS and data reports to optimise processes and data integrity across systems. The role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, stock control or warehouse administration experience
• Experience managing or supervising a team
• Strong IT and systems skills, with confidence analysing data and reports
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
• Experience working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Inventory Clerks to deliver high levels of stock accuracy
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies through system analysis and root cause investigation
• Monitor and report on inventory KPIs, ensuring performance targets are achieved
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity across warehouse systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance stock accuracy and operational efficiency
• Use warehouse management systems and reporting tools to analyse inventory trends and issues

Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday [14:45 - 00:00], Friday [11:00 - 16:00]
