Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Stock Controller for our Leighton Buzzard area operations. You will investigate discrepancies, analyse stock data in Excel and help drive improvements across multiple sites.

The role requires attention to detail, proactive problem-solving and strong collaboration with warehouse teams to maintain stock accuracy and support operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control or inventory roles.
• Proficient Excel, formulas, pivot tables and data reporting.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Investigate stock discrepancies and implement root-cause solutions.
• Analyse stock data and prepare reports for management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and trends.
• Lead stocktakes and cycle counts across sites.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve issues.
• Improve stock control procedures and warehouse processes.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the WMS.
• Support continuous improvement projects.
