Job summary

Inntravel in York is seeking an Inventory Executive to input contract rates and cost information from suppliers into our data structures, and to create new records as needed. You will use Power BI and Excel to provide insights, update holiday itineraries, respond to data queries, and collaborate across teams.

This is a hybrid role with two mandatory in-office days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and training weeks in the office.

Inventory Executive

Pay rate: £13.45/hr

Duration: 9 months

Location: Inntravel, Mains Lane, York YO60 7JU

Hybrid - 2 mandatory days in office (Tuesdays & Wednesdays), but can work from office more if preferred.

Hours: can work between 30 & 37.5 hours per week

Temp will need to be able to work from the office Monday – Thursday for the first few weeks while they are training.

Role

Interpret and input contract rates and other cost information from suppliers (eg. hotels, transport operators etc) into Inntravel’s data structure to accurately reflect the cost base.

Create new records and entry fields where necessary – bearing in mind downstream processes and consequences of new items

Create and update holiday itineraries in an accurate and timely manner so that all on-sale holidays are presented accurately to internal and external customers

Communicate & respond to data and procedural questions from around the business

Use reporting created in Power BI and Excel to provide insights and manage workflow

Collaborate – work with the team and other departments

Inntravel is located in a beautiful but remote setting, so the temp will need to have their own transport and take in a packed lunch as there is nowhere to get any food near by! The office has a lovely large kitchen with fridge and microwave etc. Plus there’s a posh coffee machine for everyone to use
