Job summary

Encyclis is building a new Walsall Energy Recovery Facility and seeks an Inventory Controller to manage stores and ensure a reliable supply of parts to the Operations and Maintenance team. The role involves stock control, documentation, and coordinating with Procurement, Maintenance and O&M teams for timely materials delivery.

You will operate CMMS for record-keeping, handle COSHH documentation and assist with safety practices and site housekeeping.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or NVQ Level 3/2 in a technical or science subject is preferred.
• Five years of related experience is desirable.
• Experience with CMMS or similar stock-management systems.
• Warehouse management experience and working with engineering drawings are desirable.
• Knowledge of COSHH and LOLER regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage stores, order parts, issue and receive goods and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Maintenance and O&M teams to ensure availability of parts and tools.
• Establish and maintain the stores facility and stock procedures.
• Receive and dispatch materials, liaise with suppliers and transporters.
• Handle COSHH substances documentation and CMMS records.
• Support H&S monitoring, safety inspections and stock housekeeping.
• Operate forklift and overhead cranes when required.
• Contribute to safety rules and safe work practices.
