Job summary

Encyclis ERF near Stewartby in Bedfordshire seeks an Inventory Controller to ensure materials procurement and supply for the Operations and Maintenance Team. You will safely operate and administer the facility stores, coordinating with procurement and the O&M team to ensure availability of parts and tools.

Reporting to Maintenance Manager, you will establish stock control procedures, conduct audits, manage COSHH documentation, and use the CMMS to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Education at National Diploma or NVQ level 3/2 in technical or science field, or equivalent.
• Experience with stores systems and procedures is desirable.
• Experience with technical/engineering documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Order parts and materials, issue/receive goods, manage stock levels.
• Coordinate with Procurement Specialist and O&M team for availability.
• Establish and maintain site stores procedures and risk assessments.
• Receive/dispatch materials, liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Maintain COSHH records and related documentation.
• Utilise CMMS to keep records accurate; identify high-risk stock and mitigation.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane when required.
• Support safety rules and safe systems of work; participate in HSE activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and store cleanliness.
