Zusammenfassung

Cooneen Group in Wrexham is seeking a full-time Stock Controller to support day-to-day operations within the Managed Service Centre. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring movements and ensuring product availability to meet customer requirements.

You will perform cycle counts, analyse inventory data and collaborate with warehouse, customer service and management teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in stock control or inventory in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using stock control, warehouse management or ERP systems.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively to deadlines.
• Current DBS Vetting Check, or willingness to undertake a check.

Aufgaben

• Maintain accurate stock records across warehouse systems and locations.
• Monitor stock movements, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and support periodic stock takes.
• Analyse inventory data and produce stock-related reports as required.
• Liaise with warehouse, customer service and management teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support goods-in and goods-out processes to ensure stock transactions are completed correctly.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock, highlighting issues and recommendations.
• Ensure stock control processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Assist with system updates, stock adjustments and master data maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.
• Implement improvements which have been agreed with your Manager.
• Support an environment in which people feel comfortable to share information, learning and knowledge within the design team and across the wider business.
• Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.
