Inventory & Operations Planning Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Inventory & Operations Planning Manager to join our dynamic E&M Supply Chain team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and transform our end-to-end materials processes, from demand planning to fulfillment. You'll play a crucial role in balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory, and ensuring maximum aircraft availability while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and motivate a team of specialists, providing clear direction and fostering a positive work environment.
  2. Comprehensive Materials Planning: Oversee all aspects of materials planning, including demand, supply, operations planning, and inventory control.
  3. Digital Innovation: Drive digital solutions and innovation within the supply chain, particularly in demand forecasting and order fulfillment.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks.
  5. Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs, assist in the preparation and delivery of management reports and financial budgets.
  6. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and manage corrective and preventative actions.
  7. People Management: Handle recruitment, selection, retention, performance management, and professional development for your team.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a high-pressure, fast-paced purchasing and supply environment, leading complex, multi-functional teams. CIPS qualification is desirable.
  2. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
  3. Analytical Skills: Confident with large data sets, possessing key analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  4. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AMOS and AGRESSO systems is desirable.
