Are you a skilled Design Engineer with a passion for precision engineering and experience using Autodesk Inventor? We're recruiting for a specialist manufacturer in Yorkshire working on high-integrity systems used in process and chemical industries.

The Role:

This is a contract opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative team working on bespoke systems and components. You’ll be involved in:

Creating detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor

Producing BOMs, GA drawings, and supporting documentation

*

Working closely with project and production teams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions

*

Contributing to design reviews and problem-solving throughout the product lifecycle

You’ll Need:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in a manufacturing or engineering setting

Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor

*

Ability to work from concept through to production with minimal supervision

*

Knowledge of machinery or plant equipment is beneficial

*

Good understanding of fabrication and machining processes
