Zusammenfassung

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Cardiologist based mainly at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. The post involves catheter lab work, outpatient and inpatient cardiology, and participation in the PPCI rota as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will engage in teaching, research and clinical governance, with further opportunities in service development and audit. GMC registration or eligibility within six months is required.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold GMC registration or be eligible within six months of interview.
• CCT in cardiology or overseas qualification equivalent as accepted by GMC.

Aufgaben

• Lead two outpatient clinics and catheter lab sessions focusing on structural heart and coronary work.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care and support PPCI rota on a timely basis.
• Contribute to Team of the Week acute cardiology rota and consultant on-call rotas.
