AMA Admin is recruiting an Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Liverpool. You will support pupils with autism, SEMH and learning difficulties, helping them develop emotional regulation and communication skills while promoting positive behaviour and engagement with education.

Working Monday to Friday during term time, the role starts April 2026 and offers daily pay between £101.40 and £110.00.

Qualifications

  • Experience of supporting children with autism or SEN is beneficial.
  • Good communication skills and patience are essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a small class team and respond to behavioural needs.

We are recruitingLearning Support Assistants on behalf of a secondary school in Liverpool. This role offers meaningful, hands-on experience supporting children and young people with autism, communication differences, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), sensory needs and learning disabilities.

You will work within asmall class team, providing personalised support to help pupils develop emotional regulation, positive behaviour strategies, communication skills and confidence, while promoting positive life choices and engagement with education.

This role startsApril 2026, workingMonday to Friday, term time only, making it ideal for graduates or support professionals seeking relevant experience before progressing into careers within youth justice, probation, policing or criminal justice services.

Pay: £101.40 - 110.00 per day

The school iseasily accessible with excellent transport links, and driving is advantageous, with on-site or nearby parking available.
