Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant to support pupils through targeted literacy, numeracy and emotional wellbeing interventions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys seeing pupils make measurable progress and celebrating every achievement.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation, and supporting personalised learning activities and intervention programmes.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people (school or care settings desirable).
  • Knowledge of SEMH, behaviour support or SEND.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
