Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Customer Support Specialist in Royston to act as the bridge between international customers and our engineering teams for Safeline X-ray equipment. You will manage the end-to-end communication lifecycle for inbound service requests, ensuring clear updates and timely resolutions.

You will also handle BOMs, parts logistics, and engineer deployments, collaborating with supply chain and depot teams to deliver seamless service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer support or service coordination role.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Experience working with international customers, ideally within engineering or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers reporting faults or service requests across channels, managing expectations from first report to resolution.
• Provide timely, proactive status updates and follow-up to restore confidence and ensure closure.
• Maintain an organised escalation path for complex or urgent incidents.
• Update BOMs, parts lists, and service kits for Safeline X-ray equipment; coordinate dispatch and logistics with internal teams.
• Provide first-line diagnostic triage to field engineers and customers; route issues to specialists.
