SimWest Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Fitter / Installation Engineer for an established engineering business. You will install, assemble and mechanically complete industrial equipment at customer sites, travelling extensively across the UK and abroad.

The role combines site work with a Manchester-area workshop component, with early starts and time away for up to three weeks at a time. A strong mechanical background and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience installing industrial machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow installation procedures.
• Proven hands-on mechanical fitting and equipment installation experience.
• Good problem-solving, organisation and a professional approach.

Responsabilidades

• Install and assemble industrial machinery and capital equipment to mechanical completion.
• Fit, align and position equipment using drawings and tools.
• Work with engineers, contractors and customer teams on site.
• Maintain safety standards and complete timesheets and expenses.
