Job summary

Hayley Dexis in West Thurrock is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to respond to incoming enquiries, process orders and act as the face of our trade counter, providing expert knowledge to walk-in customers.

You’ll follow up outstanding queries, prepare accurate quotations and look for upsell opportunities. The role suits someone with internal sales or customer service experience, ideally with an engineering or manufacturing background; cross-sector applications welcome.

Qualifications

• Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service / administrative environment.
• Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is ideal, but full training will be provided.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Responding to incoming enquiries and customer queries; processing orders.
• Be the face of the trade counter for walk-in customers, offering expert knowledge.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding enquiries and prepare accurate quotations.
