Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking an Internal Sales Professional at our Preston branch. You will be the link between existing customer accounts and new business development, delivering an excellent sales service.

You will handle enquiries via phone, email, and in-branch interactions to build loyalty and grow a robust customer portfolio. Support across trade counter and warehouse duties helps ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused role with ambitious targets.
• Strong relationship-building and sales development skills.
• Able to work face-to-face and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts and develop new business to meet branch targets with excellent sales service.
• Provide excellent customer service to key customers over the phone, in-branch, or via email to drive loyalty.
• Manage a live portfolio of current customers while proactively targeting and developing new profitable accounts.
• Be the first point of call for key accounts and clients, understanding requirements and growing the portfolio.
• Support the wider branch team, serving on the Trade Counter and assisting in warehouse tasks to ensure timely orders.
