ALS Recruiting Ltd is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for a Basildon, Essex based freight forwarding and logistics business. The role offers a basic salary of £30,000–£35,000 with uncapped commission and an OTE of £45,000+ in a full-time permanent position.

The successful candidate will generate new business, manage a pipeline, and present solutions for international freight forwarding services. Strong prospecting, relationship-building and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' proven B2B sales experience.
• Proven success in cold calling and new business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
• Freight forwarding, logistics, transport or supply chain sales experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Generate and win new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
• Conduct sales presentations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional revenue growth.
• Achieve and exceed monthly revenue and profit targets.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Arrange a minimum of 12 new business appointments per week.
