Job summary

Confidential, based in Southend-On-Sea, is seeking an Internal Sales Executive (Electronic Components) to support customers and the sales team. You will handle enquiries, prepare quotations and liaise with engineering and production to confirm feasibility.

The role offers £38,000–£43,000 with a performance bonus, training and progression, plus 25 days holiday and benefits. You will develop product knowledge and grow into field sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales of electrical/electronic components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong communication and quotation-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing a professional and responsive service.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's technical products and applications.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Review customer drawings, specifications and product information where required.
• Liaise with engineering and production teams to establish technical feasibility, pricing and lead times.
• Process sales orders accurately and ensure all relevant information is communicated internally.

The Role
