Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an Internal Sales Executive in Doncaster to nurture a portfolio of 200-500 accounts, generate new business, and drive growth across UK construction and infrastructure sectors.

You will contact customers by phone and email, make 40-50 outbound calls daily and work with estimating/operations to meet client requirements. A supportive team offers training and progression.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's sales experience.
• Proactive, positive outbound sales approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence speaking with customers over the phone.
• Resilient, driven and self-motivated attitude.
• Experience with construction industry customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 200-500 existing, smaller and lapsed accounts.
• Proactively contact customers by phone and email.
• Make around 40-50 outbound calls each day.
• Build long-term relationships with construction and infrastructure businesses.
• Follow up quotations and sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations to meet customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Deliver against quarterly sales growth targets.

Responsibilities of Internal Sales Executive

• Manage your own portfolio of approximately 200-500 existing, smaller and lapsed customer accounts, proactively developing relationships and generating new business opportunities.
• Proactively contacting customers by phone and email
• Making around 40-50 outbound calls each day
• Building long-term relationships with construction and infrastructure businesses
• Following up quotations and sales opportunities
• Working closely with estimating and operational teams to ensure customer requirements can be met
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
• Delivering against quarterly sales growth targets

Requirements of Internal Sales Executive

• At least 1 year's sales experience
• A proactive, positive approach to outbound sales
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence speaking with customers over the phone
• A resilient, driven and self-motivated attitude
• Integrity and a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service
• Experience working with customers from or working within the construction industry would be a distinct advantage, but is by no means essential.
