Job summary

Confidential in Batley is seeking a proactive Internal Sales Executive to join a growing manufacturing business with international reach. The role combines internal sales and admin support, with mentoring and a clear path to managing a customer portfolio.

You will build relationships, support the wider sales team, and develop opportunities from enquiries to orders, while learning about products and customers within a stable, established company.

Qualifications

• Internal sales experience is advantageous but personality and communication are equally important.
• Office-based role in Batley with mentoring.
• Willingness to develop a portfolio of customers.

Responsibilities

• Contact existing and prospective customers by telephone to discuss requirements, parts and products.
• Follow up enquiries and identify opportunities for further business.
• Book meetings and appointments for the Sales Manager.
• Re-engage with lapsed customers and develop new business opportunities.
• Support the Sales Manager with bringing new jobs and enquiries into the business.
• Provide general sales and administrative support.
• Produce and update stock reports.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are progressed efficiently.
• Develop strong relationships with customers across the UK and internationally.
• Work closely with the UK Sales Manager and learn the products, customers and sales process.
• Progress towards managing and developing an own customer base.
