Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are recruiting an Internal Sales Engineer to provide technical engineering support, including drawings, product specifications and weight calculations. The role involves training and product support across specialist machinery sectors and interfacing with OEMs to ensure accurate specifications and delivery.

The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering (mechanical) or similar, AutoCAD experience, and a proven track record in technical environments dealing with

Qualifications

Degree in engineering (mechanical) or similar.
Experience in technical environments such as plant, agricultural or municipal machinery.
Strong understanding of high-value capital vehicle products and OEM dealings.
AutoCAD drawing experience.

Responsibilities

Produce technical drawings, product specifications and weight calculations for chassis mounted equipment.
Liaise with OEMs, chassis manufacturers, bodybuilders and related portals to ensure specs and installation requirements are met.
Proactively supporting the sales team with high capital machinery sales.
Help ensure products meet customer specifications and requirements.
Provide technical and specification support for all customer orders.
Act as the key technical linchpin between sales and workshop.
