Job summary
GBR Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading specialist vehicle & specialist plant machinery business, recruiting for an experienced Internal Sales Engineer, to provide technical engineering support (technical drawings, product specifications, weight calculations etc.), plus product support & product range training.
You will be time served in a Sales Enginneer, Technical Engineer, Inside Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer role or an experienced Field
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, mechanical field or similar.
- Experience in technical environments such as plant/agricultural machinery.
- Strong understanding of high-value capital vehicle products.
- Experience dealing with OEMs.
- Technical drawing experience (AutoCAD).
Responsibilities
- Produce technical drawings, specifications & weight calculations for chassis equipment.
- Liaise with OEMs, chassis manufacturers, bodybuilders & portals to ensure specs & installation requirements.
- Support sales with high capital machinery bids and proposals.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications & requirements.
- Provide technical & specification support for customer orders.
- Act as the technical linchpin between sales and workshop.
- Support bids and proposals ensuring specifications are met.
- Contribute to NPD and service solutions for customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding product specifications & pricing.
- Carry out product training.
