Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are excited to partner with a leading specialist vehicle and plant machinery business to recruit an Internal Sales Engineer. The role covers technical engineering support, drawings, specifications, weight calculations, and product range training.

You will collaborate with OEMs, provide product and tender support, and act as the technical linchpin between sales and workshop to ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, mechanical field or similar.
• Experience in similar, technical environment role (plant/agricultural/municipal machinery).
• Strong understanding of high-value capital vehicle products.
• Experience dealing with OEMs and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings, product specifications & weight calculations for chassis mounted equipment.
• Liaise with OEMs and chassis manufacturers to ensure installation requirements are met.
• Support the sales team with high capital machinery sales and tender proposals.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Provide technical & specification support for customer orders and act as the technical linchpin between sales and workshop.
