Job summary

Red Acorn Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer for a busy engineering company based in Worcester. You will support commercial growth through proactive lead generation and customer engagement, working with Sales Managers, Product Management and Marketing.

Key tasks include identifying and developing sales opportunities, maintaining the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), gathering market intelligence, and helping the commercial team build a sustainable pipeline of business.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with 2–5 years in engineering, sales or marketing.

Internal Sales Engineer

An Internal Sales Engineer is required for a busy engineering company based in Worcester.

As an Internal Sales Engineer you will support the company's commercial growth strategy through proactive lead generation and customer engagement.

Working closely with Sales Managers, Product Management and Marketing, the role will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities, maintaining the CRM, gathering market intelligence and supporting the commercial team in building a sustainable pipeline of business.

The role is critical in ensuring that customer enquiries, leads and opportunities are effectively managed, allowing customer-facing sales personnel to focus on strategic account development and securing new business.

Candidates will likely be Degree qualified with 2-5 years experience in an engineering, sales or marketing environments. Any experience of Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial along with experience in one or more of oil & gas, automotive, fluid systems, industrial equipment or bespoke equipment manufacturing.

Strong communication skills are essential with the ability to build rapport with clients via telephone and email. Experience of using CRM systems would be an advantage
