Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer in Poole. You will be the technical and commercial expert for customers sourcing replacement products and spare parts worldwide, building quotes and driving growth in a global engineering business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an administration/sales environment, ideally technical or B2B with a service-minded approach.
• Engineering degree or equivalent (Degree, HNC or HND).
• Confident negotiating price, delivery times and commercial terms.
• Experience using SAP, Jeeves or Intelliquip is advantageous; strong MS Office skills.
• Proactive, accurate approach with a hunter mentality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial and technical quotations for replacement pumps and spare parts for agents and direct customers.
• Negotiate scope, pricing, discounts, payment terms and Incoterms independently.
• Follow up quotations to increase hit rate and spot opportunities to add parts or field service.
• Provide front line technical support to customers, agents and suppliers.
• Review contracts and orders against quotations; ensure supply chain clarity on certification and terms.
• Process quotes and orders in SAP/Jeeves; supply pricing and market data for monthly reporting.

As an Internal Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing commercial and technical quotations for replacement pumps and spare parts for agents and direct customers
• Negotiating scope, pricing, discounts, payment terms and Incoterms independently

As an Internal Sales Engineer, your experience will include:

• At least 3 years in a administration/sales environment, ideally technical or B2B, with a service-minded approach
