Job summary

Lincat is seeking a Customer Service Advisor (Maternity Cover) in Lincoln to join the Internal Sales team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role handles incoming inquiries and orders, delivering high-quality customer service with a Monday–Friday 37.5-hour week.

You will process orders, manage data logs, and maintain product knowledge through training while collaborating with dealers, end users, and internal teams to keep information current and accurate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy customer service or sales environment is essential.
• Desirable experience in the catering or hospitality industry.
• Ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers is important.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication skills are required.
• Ability to work proactively and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first contact for incoming enquiries to the Sales Desk, ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Process orders with high accuracy using required systems and log all details.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Undertake regular product training to keep knowledge up to date.
• Support development and maintenance of sales information and documentation.
• Inform the Sales and Support Operations Lead of issues to minimise impact.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and cover for holidays as needed, including project work.
