Job summary

LBS Builders Merchants in Pontarddulais is seeking an Internal Sales Assistant to support the Branch Manager in achieving sales targets, maximise margins and grow the customer base. You will handle quotations, provide product advice, manage stock, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Key duties include stock control, assisting with stock takes, and contributing to financial performance through debt control and proactive sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Organised, reliable and committed to delivering results.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Commercial awareness and proactive attitude toward identifying sales opportunities.

As an Internal Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the Branch Manager to ensure the efficient, profitable, and customer-focused running of the branch. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be involved in sales, stock control, customer service, and helping grow our customer base.

Hours of work: An average of 40.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am - 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm.
