Strange + Wright Recruitment Partner Ltd is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join a busy commercial team in Peterborough. The role blends internal sales, account management and business development, offering variety and the chance to impact revenue.

You will support existing customers, identify opportunities, prepare quotations and nurture a healthy sales pipeline, working with colleagues across departments to ensure exceptional customer outcomes. Salary up to £31,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, account management or business development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and commercial approach to sales.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, distribution or a technical sales environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Manage customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Follow up opportunities and convert to sales orders.
• Proactively promote products and services to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity on the CRM system.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
• Work closely with colleagues across multiple departments to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on sales activity, opportunities and customer feedback.
