Job summary

Apex Resource Management is seeking an Internal Recruiter in Daventry to own the full recruitment lifecycle across the business, aligning with hiring managers to attract top talent and deliver a standout candidate experience.

You will manage campaigns, source candidates across platforms, screen CVs, coordinate interviews and support offers with HR. UK employment law and ATS knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within internal recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment agency environments.
• Experience working in Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering industries would be beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
• Experience recruiting across multiple departments and seniority levels.
• Knowledge of recruitment best practice and UK employment legislation.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruitment platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Data-driven approach to recruitment reporting and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of business functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Create and advertise engaging job opportunities across multiple recruitment platforms.
• Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, networking and employee referrals.
• Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and ensure recruitment records remain accurate and up to date.
• Conduct reference and background checks where required.
• Prepare and negotiate employment offers alongside HR and hiring managers.
• Monitor recruitment performance metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and quality of hire.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and recruitment best practice.
