Job summary

Blue Arrow Derby is recruiting an Internal Fulfilment Lead (Learning & Development) on a full-time, permanent basis in Belper. You will shape workforce capability and drive performance through structured learning solutions. The role focuses on aligning learning with operational priorities and business objectives.

You will partner with leaders to design end-to-end learning journeys, analyse needs, and monitor impact to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in Learning & Development, Business, HR.
Experience in Learning & Development, Training, Capability Development, or Learning Business Partner roles.
Experience conducting training needs analysis and designing effective learning journeys.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyse operational and performance data to inform learning decisions.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
Strong project management and organisational capabilities.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and learning requirements.
Conduct training needs analysis and translate business challenges into effective learning solutions.
Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end learning journeys.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operational and support functions.
Monitor training effectiveness, capability metrics, and business performance indicators.
Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
Support governance, compliance, quality standards, and risk management activities.
Work collaboratively with the Head of Training and wider Training Leadership Team.
Ensure learning solutions deliver measurable business impact and performance improvement.

Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an Internal Fulfilment Lead on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to play a key role in shaping workforce capability, supporting operational performance, and driving organisational success through impactful learning solutions.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Role

As an Internal Fulfilment Lead, you will act as the key link between the Training function and internal business areas, ensuring learning and capability initiatives align with operational priorities and business objectives.

Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, you will identify capability gaps, analyse learning needs, and develop structured learning journeys that support onboarding, compliance, career progression, and ongoing professional development.

Essential Skills & Experience

Degree or equivalent qualification in Learning & Development, Business, HR, or a related discipline
Proven experience within Learning & Development, Training, Capability Development, or Learning Business Partner roles
Experience conducting training needs analysis and designing effective learning journeys
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Ability to analyse operational and performance data to inform learning decisions
Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills
Strong project management and organisational capabilities

Desirable Experience

Experience supporting operational, technical, service, contact centre, or field-based environments
Knowledge of learning governance, compliance frameworks, and quality standards
Experience leading learning-related change and transformation initiatives
