Job summary

Office for Nuclear Regulation is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to shape and deliver internal communications, ensuring staff are informed, engaged and connected to support regulatory priorities.

Working with autonomy, you will lead change communications for major modernization projects, translate complex initiatives into clear narratives, and apply Government Communications Service best practice to improve colleague engagement. BPSS is required.

Qualifications

• Develop and deliver internal communications strategies within a complex organisation.
• Lead change communications translating complex projects into clear narratives for internal audiences.
• Set measurable objectives and evaluate effectiveness using data and insight.
• Produce high-quality content across a range of formats and channels.
• Use digital innovation and emerging technologies to enhance engagement.
• Manage multiple priorities and build effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications strategies, campaigns and content aligned with ONR Together.
• Lead change communications for key modernisation projects.
• Develop engagement channels in line with Government Communications Service guidance.
• Incorporate best practice to ensure communications are fit for purpose and continuously improving.
• Be an ambassador for Strategy and Corporate Affairs, integrating strategic communication early.
• Provide strategic advice on communications to support regulatory activity and modernisation programmes.
• Ensure communications have measurable objectives and evaluation frameworks.
