Job summary

BMW Group UK is seeking an Internal Communications and Change Management Intern in Farnborough for a placement year starting July 2027. You will interact with all business functions across the organisation, from the Management Committee to associates, and collaborate with our National Sales Companies and UK manufacturing plants to align daily and weekly communications.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a Business-related undergraduate degree or similar, with predicted grade of 2:2 and above.
• Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements.
• Confidence to challenge the status quo and put forward suggestions for improvement.
• Confidence to communicate with senior management and all business areas.
• Strong written, numerical and reasoning skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Data analysis skills.
• Ability to work at both a detailed and high level.
• Ability to prioritise activities, work under pressure and multi-task.
• Competent knowledge of MS Office suite (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Outgoing, inquisitive and confident with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Support with 'All Employee' meetings and events.
• Define and develop communications, ensuring we are fully leveraging all appropriate channels, including actively exploiting digital media assets.
• Influence, drive and support all activities which promote positive employee engagement within our workplace.
• Use an employee voice tool to identify trends and actions with the support of the business to support the implementation of positive change.
• Support the Change & Innovation Manager in the creation and facilitation of Strategy workshops and training.
