Job summary

BMW Group UK Corporate Communications at Farnborough offers a placement year starting July 2027. You will support fleet management, prepare vehicle specification sheets, and assist with events and press launches. Strong communication skills and a drive to learn in PR, business or marketing are essential.

This placement includes exposure to media relations, coordination of travel and logistics, and interaction with journalists. A UK driving licence and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with predicted 2:1 or higher, preferably in PR, Business, or Marketing.
• Relevant work experience in communications, PR, or event management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support press fleet management: book vehicle loans and coordinate with journalists and teams.
• Create and maintain vehicle specification sheets with up-to-date information.
• Assist with event organisation from logistics to on-site coordination.
• Manage international and national press launches: guest management and logistics.
• Handle operational administration: databases, quotes, purchase orders.
• Liaise with media and assist the PR team with inquiries and press resources.
